Live Clean, a Canada-based company that specializes in creating eco-friendly and vegan personal care products, has recently introduced their new collection, Live Clean (Baby). The Live Clean (Baby) collection consists of washes, lotions, and ointments that contain only natural, plant-based ingredients, and no synthetic additives. The Live Clean (Baby) collection enables you to wash, moisturize, and protect your baby’s skin with gentle products that won’t irritate your baby’s delicate skin, or harm the environment.
Even though my babies are now in school, my younger child, Ryan, has sensitive skin, so whenever possible I like to use gentle products when washing him. And because of his autism, he has sensory issues that include not liking the feel of certain soaps on his body, or getting shampoo anywhere near his eyes for fear of irritation. Live Clean (Baby) sent us the following products for review:
- Live Clean (Baby) Moisturizing Baby Bath: Comprised of 98% plant-based ingredients and free of parabens, phthalates, petroleum, and SLS, this tear-free baby bath formula has a very light clean scent, lathers very nicely, and easily spreads, cleanses, and rinses off of skin.
- Live Clean (Baby) Moisturizing Bar Soap: 99% of the ingredients that go into this bar soap are plant-based, and you can choose between scented and fragrance-free. I’ve personally used this soap bar, and I love how easily it lathers and rinses off – not only is it great for babies, but it’s great for shaving, too!
- Live Clean (Baby) Moisturizing Baby Lotion: also 98% plant-based, this paraben, phthalate, and petroleum free formula smooths over skin and absorbs quickly, leaving only soft, hydrated skin behind.
All three of these products are wonderful. True to Live Clean (Baby)’s word, they smell, feel, and work beautifully on my skin, and on my children’s skin, too. If you’re concerned about both your baby’s skin and the environment, or you simply want to try gentle, effective formulas for washing and moisturizing, you’ll definitely want to explore the Live Clean (Baby) collection.
